emotion that we share an important update about Organic Candle Manufacturing
Sdn. Bhd., after 22 years of crafting natural and eco-friendly candles and
building cherished relationships, we regret to inform you that the company was
formally wound up in early 2022. This year, in April 2022, we completed our
final journey by vacating our 20 years factory at 87, Jalan Sungai Tukang 2,
Kawasan Perusahaan Sungai Tukang, 08000 Sungai Petani, Kedah, Malaysia.
### A Journey Spanning Two Decades
Since our founding in 2001, Organic Candle Manufacturing Sdn.
Bhd. has been more than a business—it was a labor of love. From our humble
beginnings in Sungai Petani, we grew into a trusted name, driven by our passion
for sustainable practices and handcrafted quality. Our team poured countless
hours into creating products that lit up homes, events, and hearts across
Malaysia and beyond. In 2003, the factory at 87, Jalan Sungai Tukang 2, Kawasan
Perusahaan Sungai Tukang, 08000 Sungai Petani Kedah, became a second home, a
place where innovation met tradition, and where lifelong friendships were
forged.
### The Difficult Decision to Wind Up
The choice to wind up operations was not made lightly. Like
many businesses, we faced unprecedented challenges in recent years, from
shifting market demands to global economic pressures. After careful
consideration and exploration of all possible avenues, the decision to close
this chapter was in early 2022, even the winding up process for a limited company
may take a year or two. Though this outcome is bittersweet, we take pride in
the legacy we’ve built and the values we upheld until the very end.
### A Final Move in April 2022
April 2022, we bid farewell to our factory in 87, Jalan
Sungai Tukang 2, Kawasan Perusahaan Sungai Tukang in Sungai Petani, Kedah, a place
that witnessed decades of creativity, hard work, and milestones. Packing up was
an emotional process, as every corner of that facility held memories of
triumphs, challenges, and the camaraderie of our dedicated team. We extend our
deepest thanks to the local community, suppliers, and loyal customers who
supported us throughout our journey.
